December

I completed my first (and most likely last) marathon on November 1 in Indianapolis. I was able to crack the 4 1/2 hour mark with a final time of 4 hours 24 minutes and 23 seconds - right at 10 minutes per mile. Unfortunately, the Marathon4Gunner team had to run the race in memory of Gunner Gillespie as he passed away after his year-long battle with a brain tumor. Most importantly, the seven runners were able to raise $9,700 for the Gillespie family. It was truly a blessed experience.

Caleb is still enjoying preschool (2 mornings per week) and he is now infatuated with the Disney Robin Hood movie. Holly's dad made him a bow from a stick and string and Holly made him a Robin Hood outfit. He loves to shoot his bow and he loves to sword-fight. He's become quite the little warrior.

Jacob is now 14 months old and is all over the place. He doesn't walk anymore - he runs everywhere and he tries as hard as he can to keep up with his big brother.
